Complex Consular Issues

The US remains the leading global destination for foreign investment, higher education, and tourism. Opportunity abounds, world class educational opportunities beckon, and vacation destinations remain attractive.

Due to recent regulatory changes and adjustments to long established immigration procedures, however, obtaining US visas today has become more difficult than in the past. For many, the obstacles can delay or even derail their plans. Our clients have fared well, even under current conditions, but they have asked for an even higher level of service to help navigate today’s tough immigration environment.

MSA Global has listened – to its clients and to voices across the globe – asking us to take decisive action to improve outcomes and smooth the process for obtaining US visas. In response, we are pleased to announce the following new initiatives.

Former Consular Officer Joins MSA Global:

Our new partner, Ramin Asgard, brings two decades of experience as a US Department of State Foreign Service and Consular Officer, in addition to his extensive experience as an immigration attorney. As a US diplomat posted overseas, Mr. Asgard interviewed over 20,000 visa applicants for US visas. He will leverage this specialized expertise to ensure your visa process proceeds smoothly, and will help deliver the elite level service our clients expect.

While we continue to work with our colleagues at the American Immigration Lawyers Association and other organizations to overturn the Travel Ban in its entirety, as that work continues, we will ensure our current and future clients obtain the best possible results under existing law.

Government Relations Services

MSA Global will leverage our strategic partnerships, relationships, and thought leadership to work for our clients, while also bringing attention to much needed systemic reforms within the immigration and consular processing environment. In all we do, service to our clients is our inspiration, and this inspiration serves us well in pressing for solutions for our clients, and improvements in the current immigration-related regulatory environment.

Diverse Global Mobility Options

Many prospective immigrants particularly those from the Middle and Far East, and especially those impacted by the Travel Ban, are opting for immigration/study, etc. in alternative countries than the US. Thanks to our strategic partnerships with immigration and global mobility firms across the world, we can provide our clients a range of nations for their preferred immigration goals.
