MONA SHAH, ESQ. HONORED GUEST AT THE MENA INVESTMENT IMMIGRATION SUMMIT
Dubai, United Arab Emirates – Mona Shah & Associates (“MSA”) were active participants at the Middle East and North Africa (“MENA”) Investment Immigration Summit held by Beacon Events. Mona Shah, Esq. was invited as an honored guest and Speaker. The summit was held in the Shangri La Hotel from March 8-10, 2016. Mona Shah participated in an EB-5 panel discussion along with Bernard Rojano of Xecute EB-5 Business Solutions, Syed Zaid Shazly of Progress immigration Consultancy, Christian Triantaphyllis of Foster, LLP and Khudabuksh Walji of The Walji Group. Mona Shah and Rebecca Singh, Esq. also led a separate presentation educating conference attendees about the EB-5 process and nuances.
As a hub and destination spot for people from across the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Europe and Northern Africa, Dubai is a prime location to network and conduct business and MSA looks forward to making many more trips to Dubai in the future. Dubai has a very strong investment immigration market, and potential immigrants are showing more and more of an interest in EB-5. However, EB-5 participants looking to tap the EB-5 market should be aware that the process is very different than from in China and requires a personal touch. Immigration agents do not dominate the market as they do in China, and this has both advantages and disadvantages.
