MSA Global from Mumbai – Next Stop, Almaty & Abu Dhabi!

19 Oct MSA Global from Mumbai – Next Stop, Almaty & Abu Dhabi!

Mona Shah Global (MSA Global) was proud to be one of six to sponsor the first ever IIUSA reception held in Mumbai, India on October 3, 2017.  The event hosted over 100 guests, including media partners BLS Media, and the SME Chamber of India, a premier national Chamber.  SME Chamber of India has been working for the development of small and medium enterprises in the manufacturing, service sectors and allied industrial / business sectors for the last 24 years.  The Chamber integrates SMEs, large corporates, MNCs, banks, investors, policy makers, Young & Women entrepreneurs and Start–Ups to establish and enhance contacts for better business growth and expansion.

As India is now classified as the 3rd largest EB-5 investor market in the world, (and the second highest country tuning into our podcast series) this was a particularly timely conference for the industry, especially to steer investors towards or away from the vast amounts of information available on the Program.  There are imminent changes coming to the Program, so it is necessary to keep informed and to separate valuable information from myths and rumors.

In addition to the IIUSA conference, MSA Global were Platinum Sponsors at the 2017 Mumbai EB-5 & Investment Immigration Expo on October 4-5, 2017.  India has grown to become one of the primary markets, and preeminent places for EB-5 investors, a fact that was well on display during this two-day networking and educational event.

The conference was held at the stately St. Regis hotel in Mumbai and featured educational panels moderated by professionals experienced in the EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program, business exhibitions, as well as networking opportunities for attorneys and foreign intermediaries.  Mona Shah, Esq. spoke on the panel, “Direct vs. Regional Center EB-5 Investments.”  Many Indian nationals elect to invest in their own direct EB-5 project as opposed to utilizing a regional center project. There are, however, various benefits to either the Direct or the Regional Center approach, as Mona explained.  The primary decision to be made when choosing how to invest EB-5 funds is about finding the right fit for the investor given the investor’s needs.

MSA Global will continue to provide updates via blogs, podcasts, and other blasts to ensure we are able to get all of the necessary information and support to investors, developers and the rest of the EB-5 community.  MSA Global will be in Almaty, Kazakhstan October 25-26, where Mona will speak on the EB-5 Program, followed by the International Residency & Citizenship by Investment Expo in Abu Dhabi, UAE from November 2-4, 2017. For the first time, EB-5 is to be included in this major immigration expo, with Mona moderating the EB-5 panels throughout the 3-day conference.
