Attorney Yi Song, Esq. and Mona Shah & Associates contributed to the uncovering the EB-5 ties of the $150 million real estate investment Ponzi-scheme. On October 15, 2013 The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) obtained an asset freeze in order to halt an ongoing Ponzi-like scheme being perpetrated by defendants Michael Wang, Wendy Ko, Velocity Investment Group. The SEC alleges that Michael Wang and Wendy Ko have raised more than $150 million from approximately 2,000 investors.
