LPS CHINA VISIT

On December 12th, 2014, Attorneys from Mona Shah & Associates and Governor David Paterson, the former governor of New York State, were formally invited to participate in the weekend festivities of the Luxury Property Showcase (LPS) Expo in Shanghai, China.
Held annually in Shanghai and Beijing, China, LPS Shanghai welcomed over 80 luxury real estate companies presenting unique estates to a discerning audience of Chinese luxury overseas home buyers and immigrant investors. The MSA team had the privilege of discussing the further growing market of obtaining the US permanent residence through investing in the EB-5 projects.
In Shanghai, former New York Governor David Paterson endorsed the New York City Green Transportation project, developed by NuRide Transportation Group. This project demonstrates how EB-5 capital is slowly traversing into the realm of transportation and infrastructure investment in the United States. The Governor’s presence attracted attention from local Chinese media, Xinhua news agency, Sina, Sohu, etc. The MSA team certainly made their presence known in China’s EB-5 capital market.
