MONA SHAH, ESQ. HONORED GUEST AT THE GLOBAL INVESTMENT IMMIGRATION SUMMIT FORUM & EXHIBITION

MSA was an active participant at the Global Investment Immigration Summit Forum & Exhibition held by the Guangdong Entry & Exit Immigration Association (GDEIA). Our partner Mona Shah, Esq. was invited as an honored guest and Speaker. The summit was held in the Four Seasons Hotel from March 18 to March 20, 2016.
Several US EB-5 projects were exhibited throughout the conference hall, of which two were represented by MSA: 1) NYC Green Transportation (“NYCGT”) developed by NuRide Transportation Group; 2) HAP Eight developed by HAP Investment Developers. NYCGT has successfully received more than 25 approvals over the past two months. The fact of fast approval makes it very hot in China now. The other project, HAP Eight, also received lots of attention due to its unique location (Chelsea of New York City), rich development experience, and excellent EB-5 and corporate structure.
Also notably present as a distinguished guest was Robert Sloposky, Vice President of Signature Bank and Angelique Brunner, founder of EB-5 Capital and Board of Directors for IIUSA, the national EB-5 trade association. Mr. Sloposky and Mona Shah. Esq. held an engaging dialogue on stage, answering a number of pressing questions raised by agents. In her presentation, Ms. Brunner introduced the due diligence review process and standards for the EB-5 projects before their final internal approval and release to the EB-5 market.
After the conference, our attorneys Mona Shah, Esq. and Hui Zeng, Esq. also were also interviewed by Guangzhou Broadcasting Network, during which were asked about the short term extension of the of the EB-5 program as well as other pending reforms.
As seen from this exhibition, EB-5 projects and investors are not slowing down!
