EB-5 Officially Extended to December 22
As expected, yesterday (December 7), in a Continued Resolution, Congress voted to extend federal funding to many government programs which includes the EB-5 Regional Center Program. The CR is a clean extension, which means that it was extended with no changes.
It is further expected that there will be another extension while Republican offices in Congressional and Judiciary Committee leadership have been working towards an EB-5 legislative reform package. Advocacy groups such as IIUSA* continue to engage with the negotiations.
