Mona Shah, head of the law firm Mona Shah & Associates Global, says direct pooled projects have become like the wild, wild West, with little oversight. “Further, USCIS regulations are so stringent, making it difficult for so many projects to comply with the corporate structure. We really welcome the new provision of removing the category completely,” says Shah.
